Neighborhood Stories: Elders having babies (Phone Call)

Same. My sim is about 2 days off being an elder himself, and his elder mother and dead/ghost father just had a newborn. Makes absolutely no sense, 

Note: I never got the phone call!!!! - I definitely wouldn't have clicked yes! The dad has been dead for about a week already.

Note2: I'm on PC.
