Not Earning Any Money After Working

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? it won't show me in the text file so i don't know, but my game is updated to the most recent version as of 6/2/24.
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? This happens most often when I try to put my sim into the culinary career.
What happens when the bug occurs? My sims go to work and when they return, they make absolutely no money. ($0) When my sims get promoted, it still says $0 even after the promotion.
What do you expect to see? My sims should make money when they get back from work.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I've put my sims into other careers in the same save and they've earned money, but once they're back in the culinary career they stop earning money again. I've taken my mods out, repaired the game, and tested it and it still happens. Pretty sure there's nothing more I can do at this point.
