I'm pretty sure I saw this behavior in Kelsey Impicche's second "octomom" letsplay vid. Her kid on the top bunk wouldn't sleep, either, and I don't think she had MOO (but could be mistaken). If I recall correctly, there was a toddler bed underneath.</anecdotal>

Yes, changes for bed and climbs in, stays asleep for a few seconds then the sim is up again.

@PantheaReally does sound like [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims won't stay in bed.
I have tried MOO with the loft bed as well, and haven't had a problem so far. So, I don't think it's that. At least, not solely that.
Anyway, in my limited experience of the "Sims won't stay in bed" bug, replace all beds in the house and reassign them. I know it sounds a bit extreme, but my parent sims were unable to sleep because they thought their kid needed to sleep in their bed.
