It took me a while to figure this out because it's required for some career tasks and social events. I failed a few until I found it by accident. I had searched everywhere looking for it, extremely frustrated.
I'm not too happy with the conversation changes in general as I don't group by context and it makes the Game Option to control that format redundant, since now it groups by context automatically but that may be considered a different problem.
- 3 years ago@simsplayer818 The new organization patterns for the interactions drives me nuts too. Not sure why they had to change it :/ takes way too much time to hunt down which interaction you want to use.
I do not have Growing Together and have the infants update and the Ask About Day is totally gone. I’m sure it isn’t easy developing a game, especially one as complex as the Sims, but i am hoping they continue to fix the game soon. Call me crazy but I’d rather have bug fixes than get new expansions/packs.- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@saraboolovesyou Absolutely agree with you. It's too overcomplicated and it hasn't given enough thought to the conversational requirements for tasks. I can see the merit in adding a few new categories but the Small Talk one would have been better as just the first couple of pages of chat options. Instead, the first page is full of random and mean/mischief interactions that I'm not going to use.
They could have put more time into fixing the bugs with conversations and especially fixing the autonomous behaviour from Sims. My Sims are still talking away as if they have minds of their own. It's a missed opportunity.

I don't see "Check Up On" either. Not sure if it's related to one of my mods but it's not a big enough issue to go through everything to check
