I have the same exact issue and sometimes the dust will appear on a newly built floor (basically the floor is all of a sudden dirty with bunnies etc.), it is kinda disapointing that we have paid for a broken kit.
so nice to know EA still haven't fixed this - and it isn't even on their laundry list
Be sure to check the vacuum doesn't need repairing. You do have to take it out of the inventory to find out.
