August 30 2022 patch After the last patch I have been seeing both the clean moodlet and the dusty moodlet simultaneously, however there is still no visible dust after 2 Sim weeks of gameplay. Vacuuming gives me 3 moodlets: Perfection, Dusty and Sparkling. I used my existing vanilla test game because it already had the dueling moodlets. At first the Clean and Dusty moodlets continued to show up, but after a few Sim days of playing (no travel) they disappeared and and eventually the dust bunnies and dust piles started to show up. Befriended one, went skiing, came home and they were still there. Moodlets seem to be working. So far so good.I spoke too soon. Let the the dust build up to the "Everything feels a bit dirty" tense moodlet. Called the Maid. She actually vacuumed, but reset as soon as she finished. After that I had to travel with my Sim to get rid of the "Dirty" tense moodlet and the dueling dusty and clean moodlets returned. No amount of vacuuming seems to fix it. ☹️

After enabling the pack in game the floor dust level begins at “Sparking Clean Surroundings” due to being in a clean area and gives Sims “Fine” +1 moodlet like normal. After approximate 2.5 sims hours, the floor level moodlet changes to “Someone Lives Here” due to now being in a dusty area but the “Sparking Clean Surroundings” moodlet never goes away. What do you expect to see? The “Sparking Clean Surroundings” due to being in a clean area and gives Sims “Fine” +1 moodlet should go away as the floor is now at “Dusty” level. Well, this phenomenon occurs consistently in apartments (unless it has been vacuumed shortly beforehand). And this bug is also still present in rented apartments. But it doesn't always occur there. The bug is present on a Sim who lives in a rented apartment, but it didn't appear on the Bun Ma family even after several days.In houses, however, the bug really seems to have been fixed.The clean moodlet disappears as soon as the apartment is dusty. If you vacuum the apartment, the dusty moodlet disappears and the clean moodlet appears. Just as it should be. However, if you then go to CAS, for example, both are active again when the household is reloaded.Here in the picture you can see that both buffs are active. The Sim from which this excerpt originates lives in an apartment.And here in the pictures you can also see that both moodlets are active. Here too, the Sim lives in an apartment.

My sims house in Windenburg where the Vatores live has the "Someone Lives Here" moodlet even the house is clean. Is there a way to have this fixed? Thanks

@SimmerCarl92 Dust is pretty broken currently and is not spawning. Maybe the game thinks there still dust although you can't see it ?

Can you try moving the Sim out and back in ?

I also have the same problem. My sims also lives in Windenburg. I also get the someone lives here moodlet even tho the house is clean.

Similar to the suggestion to move, I just discovered that if I disable dust in the Game Options > Pack Options and then shortly re-enable it that got rid of the someone lives here moodlet. My floors (for now at least...) are registering as clean with my Sim.

Yeah, having the same issue, even though all floors are cleaned and vacuumed. Tried in different worlds, happens every time 😔

I keep having this happen, too. It's even happening in new saves with no CC. Bust the Dust seems to be completely broken at this point... I also don't have dust appearing. The moodlet may be there but it never gets dirty. And I just started a brand new save, moved into a lot on Tartosa, swam OUT INTO THE OCEAN beside an empty, unowned lot, and my Sim got a negative moodlet for flirting with another Sim in a filthy area...

Same thing happening here! It's so annoying, there's no dust never and still this moodlet never goes away, neither the "sparkling clean"

Same thing happens to me, I had to turn off the dust (again), honestly I haven't been able to enjoy this kit yet, it never worked well for me and I always end up turning it off. Even a few days ago, I reinstalled the game and tried the fully vanilla game, but no, it doesn't work.

I tested this bug after patch (PC: 1.95.207.1030 / Mac: 1.95.207.1230) with Goths and Spencer-Kim-Lewis household in Vanilla.
With the Goths I got the two buffs (clean and live) after I adopted 3 cats. Spencer-Kim-Lewis don’t got the bug and the dust occurs without problem (without double buffs) in their house. Self after restart, cleaning, traveling I don’t get any problem with Spencer-Kim-Lewis household. With the Goths is was random if i got dust or if i got the two moodlets (without dust)
