That's weird. Most on reddit and others (who don't have mods like myself) said it didn't work for them either and their arrow keys are still not functioning right making it hard to move the camera function in the game. Really makes the game unplayable. So, it's definitely on EA end as I said before. Oh, well. Yeah, hope they fix this problem soon. Especially, since I like to build in the game, lol. Edited for clarification and more info on the problem.
I was referring to the last patch. That's the one that affected the inability of the arrow keys to work.
Now, with the latest patch it is STILL happening. So NOPE, unfortunately it didn't repair anything. Still have to keep taking a lot of time to restart the game and sometimes that doesn't work.
I'v had this problem with the arrow keys on and off too since approximately a month ago. I just opened the game, in one of my other saves to try a scenarios and now they don't work again.
Im on a Mac though. It's always the right and left arrow function thats not working when this happen. Up and down always work for me.
Im going to restart the game as that usually have worked for me, but I can't really see a proper pattern in it. Unless it happened again after last path a few days ago, and just didn't affect my main save. I haven't been in other saves until now.

I've noticed that this happens when I start a new Scenario. After I close and reopen my game, I can use the right and left arrows again.
Same. If I start a scenario (even just CAS and then back out to main menu), my left-right arrow keys get disabled.
A restart has fixed it every time so far. Which is a good thing, since I'm left-handed and don't use WASD at all.
- @Ysharros yes, it must be related to scenarios. I usually dont play the scenarios and haven't had the problems since a month ago. But I was looking at the scenarios before I launched the game. That alone made the arrows not work again.
It still fix it to restart the game. But its a weird bug!
@Sketch793 you have to close the entire game, not just to the main manu.
@gothgirl_gamer02 Im on a Mac as well, I hope your made it work with again with a relaunch too?
