Hi, I don’t know exactly how to explain this bug but I’ve recently noticed in my saves that my own Sims were doing the hell they want like adopting kids and pets while the story progression is OFF for them. I had to delete a whole family because they had a kid without my consent while I had a plan for them. Like please, I’m playing with them they can’t just do stuff on their own, especially with the story progression off… So I have no choice but to turn in on and uncheck everything so they don’t get married, quit their job or do the hell they want. I couldn’t care less about the Sims I don’t play with but my own, I don’t understand why this is happening. When story progression is off my Sims shouldn’t be doing whatever they want unless I miss something. For the record I use MCCC, so maybe there’s something I need to turn off in the mod for this not to conflict with EA’s story progression? Because if I’m not mistaken, it’s on by default with MCCC. I also have Slice of life so IDK if anyone knows how to deal with this rather than me pulling my hair and getting upset because they keep having/adopting kids or pets or randomly changing their careers.
I would appreciate it, thanks ☺️

It was the same with or without mods but I mean it's fine, it's a tad annoying especially in a save with a couple of legacies but well the game is full of bugs so one less or more. I just have to uncheck all the options so they don't do anything. Eventually, they could be adopting a pet but at least they're not popping kids here and there all the time or switching careers whenever they want to.
