So I've seen others have had this same issue years ago, but it's just reappeared for me. My sim is pregnant and gives birth. The song plays, the notification pops up (I've done this both at the hospital and at home), but once she is done giving birth and the interaction is over, she teleports a few feet away, loses her pregnancy belly, the moodlet of giving birth is gone and no baby appears. The same issue happens both at home and at the hospital.
At the hospital, the doctor and birth-giving machine seem bugged as the machine does not move and everyone just stands still during the birth.
Things I've tried to fix this:
-Repair the game
-Remove my sims 4 file and restart the game to get a new one (I add the save file back in after)
-Remove all mods and custom content
-Clear cache
-Move the family to a different lot
Nothing seems to work to fix this issue and I am left baby-less.
Does anyone have anything I could still try? I am in the middle of a legacy challenge and all my work on the long life span will be gone if I can not continue with this family. I wonder if the issue could be with the safe file itself? This issue appeared 2 days ago.
When others asked about this they were always asked if they removed mods even if they explicitly stated that they did. There is no chanse this is from a mod as I have non installed at the moment. Help plz.

All I have are the standard questions, like… how big is your household and is anyone else pregnant? I’d honestly use MCCC on each Sim in the household and make sure no one else is pregnant. Maybe look at the maximum Sim count for that save file?
(The surgery machine and the doctor t-posing is a known issue for everyone.)
If you want to know if it’s the save file, you could start a new test save and immediately try for baby and that would answer that….
Hi, I had 7 sims in the household, no one else is pregnant (only 1 adult female sim)
I was able to resolve the issue by asking for help from somewhere else and they had me move my teen sim out of the house. That fixed the isse and the baby was born, after that I was able to move the teen back into the house.
Apparently, the teen sim was somehow registering as 2 sims instead of one. I don't know how that could have happened.
Moving her out and then back in after the birth resolved the issue though.
Edit: Yes, I received help there and got the issue fixed. I left them my save files too which were sent forwards to try and figure out what went wrong. Thank you for the help here everyone!
