@DaWaterRat Hi, I had this same exact problem. My sims couldn’t pick the infant up and the only way I could fix it was to click on the infant, select “change outfit” & changed the outfit, and was able to pick the infant up. Unsure if this works for Everybody but I figured I’d share in case it helps someone else.
Thank you! Clicking to change the infant's outfit fixed this for me too. I had even tried making different outfits in CAS and that hadn't fixed it. One thing I noticed is when the baby aged up to infant the little round blanket that auto appears didn't go under the infant but was alone on the other side of the room. After changing the outfit though that little auto blanket did move under the infant so maybe it was related to that? First time playing that save in months so no one had read to my infant yet as some previously thought might be the issue.
