[OPEN] Can't play peek a boo/read toddler book to infants outside of crib

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Growing Together, Get. to work , Get together, Eco lifestyle, Cats & dogs , Parenthood, spa day, umm etxtra i have alot
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When you click on the infant to peekaboo or read toddler to the infant when it is on the ground
What happens when the bug occurs? When you click on the interaction to play peekaboo or to read a book to the infant the sim will cancel the interaction and just stands there without doing the interaction as for the reasing a toddler book interaction the sim just stand ther with the book on her hands and it will only work if the infant is on the playmat
What do you expect to see? The sims should be able to play peekaboo and read a toddler book without canceling the the action and will should be able to perform the action without any problems
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Having this issue where I  am an unable to play peekaboo or read a toddler book when the infant is on the floor it usually glitch out and the sim will cancel the interaction.

I am also having this problem. The Sim and the infant just kind of idle for a bit before it cancels out. 

There's only so many interactions to begin with so this is pretty disappointing.

I've noticed recently that "play peekaboo" tends to actually get animated as "stand still holding the baby for several seconds while staring at them" but according to the action queue supposedly they're actually doing it? I haven't gotten the milestone for learning peekaboo in months, but then, that was always a hard one to get. The infant's attention need does go up.

Same issue here. Mom just sits there in the chair holding the book and they stare at each other until it cancels out.

I really wish this interaction would work. ☹️

Yeah I wondered why my sim didn't do a suitable animation when I told her to play peek a boo with her infant (outside of the crib), but this explains it. I really wish it would work properly.
