@Thehiddenreturns What do you mean by "hamster area" btw? Can they jump on top of the hamster cage? I'm just curious :D Also if I happen to have a hamster in a save/test save I could keep an eye out for that as well with this "Learn not to jump on counters" bug.. 🙂
And thank you for reporting! I love it when console players report bugs because the team has to take the issue seriously then as it cannot possibly be because of mods.

@siirysiir by hamster area i mean its cage/home that it stays in, the cat gets on top of that as well, and the option to lecture is sometimets avialable and sometimes not, I even switched to different sims in my house to see if maybe the option to lecture was available to them and it wasnt,

    I would love to see some input from the team so we could get a confirmation if jumping on other objects is indeed tied to jumping on counters or not. Cats like to climb on high places irl so I would like to see them do so in the game too but for safety reasons they should be taught not to jump on kitchen counters. I hope this behaviour is reflected in sims. I would like to allow my sims cats to climb on top of high furniture to allow them to follow their natural urge to do so. I wish they would climb on some shelves too as in real life ppl build shelving on walls just to allow their cats to get some exercise and be able to observe their surroundings from above as they enjoy doing.
