While having my sim search for snow globes in the cardboard boxes, she came across this item labeled 1**DEBUG** This item appeared to be pieces of broken wood. Like the kind your sim uses when building furniture at the workbench. This isn't something that severely affects the game, but it would be nice if it was fixed. (Btw I'm excited for the bowling stuff pack that's coming out in a few days!)

It sounds more like the OP stumbled across a debug item in a regular search, but just for clarity, @LostMyTurtles, if you type bb.showhiddenobjects and then type debug in the search bar, you'll see that there are tons of similar debug items that don't have proper names. These are objects that devs put in the game that weren't intended for direct use/manipulation by players but can be accessed via cheating. They are *not* bugged items. The particular piece you're talking about is used to display a work-in-progress object on the woodworking table.
Shouldn't necessarily show up in the boxes though.
