@crinrictWillonne I didn't know they were supposed to interact! Well, I THOUGHT they would so my sim with a rat problem got a cat only for this reason, although it was a tiny apartment and almost didn't have room for a cat. And then it didn't interact with the rats. I just figured the game makers wanted it that way and that it wasn't a bug. I've had this issue for months so it didn't come with recent patches, if anyone's wondering.

    I also only got a cat for this very reason, then to find out they just completely ignore vermin ☹️

      @Gellyzar That's right! They completely ignore them. It's ridiculous and after all these years, still no fix.

        @WillonneThis should definitely go on the laundry list as one of those long since broken features that have been unnoticed by the sims team.
