The most recent patch/Cats and Dogs I've discovered a bug that was never in my game before the most recent patch/Cats and Dogs. For some reason, my Sims will not completely finish siopao when I direct them to eat it at the Spice Festival. Instead, they put it down halfway through. Not only that, but the only option available when I click the half-finished siopao is to throw it away. I have the same bug at the Spice Festival. There is also no green circle indicating the progress of the eating.

When you eat ensymada or siopao from a food stall or from the spice festival, the sim won't eat it entirely and put the last bit away like it was a dirty plate. The options it then gives are "cleaning" or "throw out" (I guess those would be the option names in english). What happens when the bug occurs? Sim stops eating the ensymada or siopao and acts like it's a dirty dish. Thus not gaining the recipe. What do you expect to see? Sims should eat ensymada or siopao untill it gains the recipe and the object would dissapear like it did at first (not leaving anything behind like it would be a dirty plate). Neutral/Not Sure I have had multiple sims eat ensymada or siopao and I'm not sure when the bug occured. It was way after I had deleted CC from the game, like a year after, that I'm sure of. The sim stops eating it like it finished the plate of food. Except that these two dishes are not on a plate and need to be eaten entirely before the sims gaines the recipe. Or at least this was the case when I first played City Living. I recently revisited this neighboorhood since the Get Famous pack was released 'cause I found the city a good place to live for a style influencer. That is when I noticed the bug. I tried with 3 other sims as well and they all stop eating ensymada or siopao and treat the last bite as a dirty plate. This also occurs when I go to a normal food stall, put the siopao or ensymada in my inventory and take it home or when I make a lunch bag out of it and take it home. I'm sorry if this bug was already reported, I could not find a bug report where other people had this problem with the normal food stalls as well. Also sorry for any grammar mistakes.

Gosh, I just realized how hard this can be to actually test. The food stalls that show up by default at the Spice Festival do not sell siopao, so the only way to get it is if it's on the buffet, and even then there's no guarantee that it will spawn, since the items that spawn on the buffet are completely random.

It does. So this may be on testing for a while 😉 Just got the festival and can dupe this. I'll add on the next round

is this repeatable for you at non-festivals as well ? Mine just ate her Siopao without any issues. Did anything interrupt the process of eating ?

Gosh, I just realized how hard this can be to actually test. The food stalls that show up by default at the Spice Festival do not sell siopao, so the only way to get it is if it's on the buffet, and even then there's no guarantee that it will spawn, since the items that spawn on the buffet are completely random.

Oh thank goodness it isn't just me! This is totally bizarre, though. I have no idea what would cause this one food specifically to be an issue at the Spice Festival. I don't think I saw this happening with the other foods there. 🤔
