I always thought this was intentional, it's been a thing for years, hasn't it? I just assumed it was to do with all of the different swatch designs on the rug. Has it ever not had a black background?

I just found a YT video of a BB review 7 years ago when CL released. Here is what the icon for the rug looked like then. (Red line is from YT, I can't pause the video to take the pics without the red bar showing).
Oh huh! I only picked up CL a couple of years or so after it first came out so I guess this issue has been around for a very long time.
