@thisisarealpainx Anyone never had any mods in here ?
If you had any, did you try a factory reset, the a fresh save for testing purpose and it still happens ?
I don't see them in my household manager at all and I believe they are supposed to be hidden households.

I strongly believe this is a MCCC issue, not a bug. I know a player who had this issue with other NPCs like gardeners and masterfishermen shortly before the pack has been released and thought it was my townieoverhaul causing it when it acutally was caused by some setting in MCCC. Sadly I don't know which setting in MCCC it is as I don't use mods.

I meant to say I don't use MCCC ( I obviously do use other mods though).

This problem happened to me without mccc (or any mods) installed in my game. Showed up to the finchwick fair and there were two Agnes’ there walking around.

@83bienchen nope not an MCC issue. I am having the issue and I never had that mod installed.

I am not sure how this thread has changed it was initially about the bloated other households. Is this still part of this thread or are we talking only about the multiple agatha and agnes? Anyways I am watching a TON of foxes getting created so I don't know. It feels like this game is generating multiples of everything and causing the households to bloat.

I now think that this might be an MCCC issue. After removing MCCC, I do still have multiple Agathas and Agneses in my current save. However, I started a new save without MCCC ever being installed for that save and multiple Agathas and Agneses did not spawn. Started a second new save with MCCC installed and multiple Agathas and Agneses did spawn. So, I would say at this point it is looking like an MCCC issue. Sorry for the confusion.
ETA: Other people are saying that they are having this issue with no mods installed so maybe it's just a coincidence that the problem did not occur for me in a new save which I had never used any mods in. Seems like it may well not be an MCCC issue after all.

I don’t have any mods and it’s happening to me. When you purchase something, the game creates a new crumplebottom

I am not using any mods at the moment and I have this issue, too. But I used MCCC a long time ago for the same save file. Do I still need to apply a factory reset and use a fresh new save file -although I do not think they are related :/- ? (This is my 15th generation, so I hope it will be enough to use “save as” for creating a new save file… lol)

@crinrict just wanted to make you aware that two people have commented here to say that this has happened to them in saves without mods. So, it sounds like it may well not be mod related. It might just be a coincidence that I got this issue on a save which had had MCCC and did not get this problem in a different save which had never had any mods. Maybe it just affects some saves and not others.

Is there any way to show hidden households without using mods? I know how you show them with MCCC.
This bug worries me a lot because it sounds like the Father Winter bug which can destroy your save.

@logionX I don't believe there is any way of doing that, but the additional Crumplebottoms are generated as households that are visible in manage households (although one Agnes and one Agatha will remain as a hidden household). So if you can't see any Agathas or Agneses in manage households then you're all good.
I don't know if this will help but I have some more information. I opened the 'mc_cmd_center' file (the notepad file which for me is in Electronic Arts/Sims 4/Mods/Deaderpool) and found the following entries:
[Jul-25-2021 09:46:01]* Created homeless household, Jorgensen, containing 1 sim(s) for: _SituationFilters_CottageWorld_NPC_AgnesCrumplebottom
[Jul-25-2021 09:46:01]* Created homeless household, Moyer, containing 1 sim(s) for: _SituationFilters_CottageWorld_NPC_AgathaCrumplebottomand:
[Jul-25-2021 09:52:05]* Created homeless household, Bradley, containing 1 sim(s) for: _SituationFilters_CottageWorld_NPC_AgnesCrumplebottom
[Jul-25-2021 09:52:05]* Created homeless household, Prado, containing 1 sim(s) for: _SituationFilters_CottageWorld_NPC_AgathaCrumplebottomThere are no earlier entries so I am not able to check further back but it seems to me that if I could go further back, I would find similar entries, accounting for all of my 'surplus' Agathas and Agneses.
Not sure if MCCC is just recording the issue or if it's actually responsible for the issue.

I don't use mods and I have this too.
This is in a save where my sims frequently sell things to the produce stand, and occasionally buy things too.
