are you using a mod to enable the "destroy object" option? I am playing without mods and can only reset the object but not destroy it when I right click on the plant with testingcheats turned on. The resetting doesn't solve the problem.
Yeah, you get only this option back if you use mods as MCCC, TwistedMexis All Cheats or bienchen destroy objects mod. The team removed some cheats from vanilla game, this cheat was one of these removed cheats. // sadly, most mod user forget that they have such mod which give these cheats back.
In Vanilla you can only take care of this situation if you have Realm of Magic and play a spellcaster. You just need to burn all these plants with Inferniate* You need *Spectral Reach* - Perk .
Thank you so much for answering and offering a solution to deal with the problem in a vanilla game. Luckily I have Realm of Magic and I'll try your suggestion. 🙂

So, infernate didn’t work for me, so I installed Bienchen destroy object mod. Worked wonderfully. Alls clear. Thank you 😊
