[OPEN] [DHD] Clients won't leave

Is the option to call clients back even available? is it grayed out? You've tested it without mods I assume? did it work then?

yes it is available, but they are already on the lot so nothing happens.

i removed my mods and the issue still happens

Did you delete your localthumbcache after removing the mods?

I would resting the sims and seeing if that would do anything.

If it is still persisting, Honestly I would use the mod MC Command Center to make the sim leave and see if that at least makes it playable

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

Hi there, apologies for the late reply. Yes unfortunately in some gigs this is still happening. I am also having an issue where when I renovate a commercial lot such as a bar, the client won't come to the lot so I can't ask them about what designs they want and so I fail the gig.

Yeah, I have this same issue. I even tried luring the client away to see if it would reset their activation. After trying a bunch of things like cheat debugging, I finally tried to actually just travel with the Sim to drop them off somewhere but once I left the lot, the entire gig was voided without any prompts. I don't run mods. 

Yeah I did the exact same thing. The pack is unfortunately very buggy.

What happens when the bug occurs? I tell the sim to leave home so I can do start the renovation but the sim doesn't leave home, so I do all the required things to complete the gig anyway. Once finished I click the "Call sims home" for the reveal. The timer for the reveal comes up but nothing happens. Sims are already in the house as they never left but nothing happens and no reveal. The timer finishes and still nothing happens. I only have the option to "Take before/after pics" under the decorator menu. When I talk to the sim whose house it is, I can only talk to them normally and nothing else comes up about the gig. I don't get paid and my sim can't go home even after hours have passed so my sim is stuck at the house.
What do you expect to see? My sim to be able to reveal the new renovation and to be able to finish the gig and leave the lot.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Although i've owned this pack for a while, this is first time I've played the DHD career and it just doesn't work.
