On Xbox series S mine works the opposite way most of the time but not always.
I say yes to the reveal event then it doesn't do the reveal and it just ends with no interaction with the client, no photo montage, just straight home and sometimes but not always leaving behind a client saying "meh" basically.
However if I choose not to host the reveal...it starts. It's a buggy career this one and it's a shame as I really like this feature.
So I am having this problem on Xbox. When I choose to host reveal, the interim steps pop up (reveal, show off items, get client verdict or whatever the specific language), but it then skips the reveal montage animation and goes straight to the end and asks if I want to stay in lot or go home. The reveal animation is the emotional payoff for doing all the work. It’s a shame this is still broken after all these months.
Same issue here. My first gig, there was no slideshow, it just went straight to show off the reno. Second gig, it skipped EVERYTHING and I failed with an earnings of $0 and a reputation loss.
