[ARCHIVED] [DU] Diploma displays wrong university

Same problem. My sim graduated first in Brightchester and then in Foxbury. Both the degree certificates show Brightcester.

So will they not fix it? This problem remains until now.

In case the sims get their first diploma at Britechester univ, they get the britechester diploma next time even though they graduate at Foxbury Institute. I've experienced this many times as I made ONE sim has 13 distinguished degrees from both university. 

This is the First diploma from Foxbury Institute.

In this case, she got the correct one because she has never been in Britechester univ.

I sent this sim to Britechester after getting her first diploma in Foxbury and she graduated today.

She got the Britechester Diploma. This is also the correct one.  So I guess if we start to get the diploma from Foxbury first, then we won't have this bug. I should have started my sims' 13 diplomas challenge from the foxbury first. I'm regretting it now.

Just wanted to note I'm also having this issue in Oct 2022. Decided to get a sim to do all the dostinguished degrees and the simology panel shows the correct info but the diplomas all say University of Britechester. Honours and major are all correct on the diplomas, graduation was at Foxbury and there were no obvious errors until I got the diploma. No mods

My sims just graduated from Ubrite with Language and Communications both of the sims graduated from Ubrite but the degrees the simology pannel is correct but the degrees are showing Foxbury its december of 2022 this should not still be happening why is it still this broken 

Just wanna add "Me too" as of 23rd December 2022. Same as everyone, first degree with Britechester and all subsequence Foxbury degrees came in Britechester diplomas.

Hello! I found a (sort of) fix for this bug! After the graduation ceremony, check your sim for a trait that looks something like "traits_university_degreetraits_type_artsdegree." You can use MCCC— go to CAS, traits, then remove trait, and type "degree" in the search bar. Click on that trait and REMOVE IT BEFORE your sim gets the diploma. The diploma should then show up as being from Foxbury. There isn't a fix that doesn't require cheats or mods, but this is the closest you can get :P

 I realised today that i'm having the same issue. I am also doing my supersim and since i play sporadically i didnt noticed it at first, but i have now 3 degrees that are from Foxbury appear as from Britechester. The graduation ceremony did occur on the correct University, but the diploma doesnt reflect that

@OtherCat thanks for the tip! I'll try it next time, because I, like the rest, also had this bug. In addition to my Sim's problems, I also deal with college in real life. Recently, I started using the [removed link] service so that I would have more time for games. I like the opportunity to entrust my research to another person while I do what I want.
