This happened to me earlier today. I had two sims at the library by the schools, then I took one sim to Britechester for class, then she went to class and I switched to my other sim at the library. From then on the sim that went to class is grayed out and all the same bugs even when she isn't at class.
I just had it happened tonight. My sim came home from his job but the little icon of his face still had the look that he was at work.
Work. He came back when I reopened the game though.
Having this same issue. I've tried debugging the sim through testing cheats and going into CAS. Nothing has helped and I just got the pack maybe 3 hours ago. I have a single young adult sim and she won't return from class. I raised her from a toddler up to young adult, so she came from a 3-person household previously. Seems to be a bug with the newest update and I really hope the Sims team fixes it soon. I’m willing to give a save file from a Mac if necessary, too.
