Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have a sim with the "Eco Innovator" Aspiration try and fullfil the "vote on NAP two seperate times" goal by voting via the NAP board at the community center
What happens when the bug occurs? voting via the NAP board at the community center does not count towards the aspiration goal, only voting via the mailbox does.
What do you expect to see? either way of voting for a NAP should count towards the aspiration goal
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

this also happens with the "Master Maker" aspiration
the goal "recycle 5 times" does not count recycling from a dumpster, it only counts recycling from inventory.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Looking into if this is the case for every Xbox One user or just myself.
What happens when the bug occurs? I recently installed the Eco lifestyle expansion pack. However when I vote for neighbourhood action plan it doesn't apply to my Sim's aspiration making me unable to progress doing goals relating to this expansion pack. It does not get ticked on the check mark list on aspirations.
What do you expect to see? Voting on neighbourhood poll, doesn't work on aspirations. Can't progress.

Sims neighbourhood action plans points used, and then doesn't apply to my Sim's eco lifestyle aspiration to vote for one neighbourhood action plan.

What happens when the bug occurs? It won't give you the "vote on Neighborhood action plans" accomplishment for the milestones.
What do you expect to see? I expect it to give me the milestones accomplishment.

I had this problem too but on both the mailbox and the community board. HOWEVER, when I went to the board and voted on a community space project instead, this registered! So I think the "bug" here, is that the devs have put "Neighbourhood Action Plans" when they really meant "Community Space Projects".
I have this issue on my Mac. Nothing counted towards the aspiration. I voted on the mailbox and went to the community voting board and voted for the neighborhood action plan and community space project and my aspiration still says 0/2 complete.
Happens to me if i even go in and out of manage world or switch what family im playing with
I'm having the same problem with PC version. Voting board doesn't work and it says that the reason is because My Sim can only vote in her own neighborhood. This IS her neighborhood.

@canelacaliente Not sure really. Looks to me as both threads have become a mix up. Might have merged to the wrong threads myself at the time.
One is about Milestone 3 (vote on NAP two seperate times) and the other for Milsteon 1: Vote on 1 NAP.

I'm getting the same problem. i can't vote on the voting board to completed the aspirations to vote on the voting board.
I have a work around: click on the [+] at the bottom right of the choices and choose one of those on that list, in addition to one on the main page as a fail-safe. I haven't had issues when doing that to satisfy the first milestone. Works every time for me so far when I do have my sims vote (always from their mailbox as I don't necessarily play a world with a NAP community board).
