EDIT: So, Did you put any of your mods back ? Especially the ones that let you have that many Sims in one household ? If you load the save with no mods, the game needs to remove all the extra Sims (it does so when you load the household or go to CAS) and I think that just overwhelms the game. I would suggest waiting till all the mods you are using are updated and try again then. Play a new save until then.
i was building in the sims 4. i downloaded a house from the gallery. it's a pretty big lot. then i went into the gallery to replace the lot and tried to download a new one. again, the lot is pretty big so i knew it would take a while to load. but it has been hours and it's still loading. i'm on mac and i need to use my computer for other things and im concerned that it's just going to keep loading forever.
i've been trying to fix it for a while. I may have made it worse. anyway, i went into origin and tried to repair the game. origin says that sims 4 is at 100% and still finalizing. i can't quite origin because the repair thing is still loading. the button to pause install isn't working. i can't restart my computer because of this.
i removed mods and cache. quitting the game doesn't do anything. i added some images of the install thing in case im not explaining it right.

My endless loading screen just started. I was using a new Save ( not a save as ) with only 1 family of 3 sims. I didn’t have the endless screen going into the lot. I had the endless loading screen coming out of the lot, going to the world screen. It happened with lots I had downloaded. One was with a 64x64 Castle I had put on the Island of Windenburg.. I had placed it and gotten rid of a moat around it with the plants on the moat and changed a few other things. When I tried to go to manage worlds it was an endless loading screen, and was not even saying it was not responding. I was not able to X it out to get out of the program. I had to minimize my game and turn off the computer without closing the gsme or the EA app.
a few days later I put in a Residential lot from a Reputable builder it was a 20x20 lot I put on a 30x20 lot in the Cats and dog world. I couldn’t download it till I made the lot Residential Rental. That was fine and I downloaded if that way. I believe I turned it into a Residential to change things . When I tried to get back to manage worlds I also got an endless loading screen like I did with the castle.
i own all packs and kits. I do not use CC or mods. I’m on a PC with the EA app.
I started to have this issue too only after latest patch 107.xxx.. I can load other houses, but not mine. If I play other household and go toa house near my house and press visit, it sometimes loads sometimes not. What I noticed, when trying to load this lot it says "Visit [some random adress]", and when it loads it writes "Visit residence"
