@4llen11 So sorry, missed that. I'll let you know.
EDIT: So, Did you put any of your mods back ? Especially the ones that let you have that many Sims in one household ? If you load the save with no mods, the game needs to remove all the extra Sims (it does so when you load the household or go to CAS) and I think that just overwhelms the game. I would suggest waiting till all the mods you are using are updated and try again then. Play a new save until then.

It is possible the sims became bugged. I have updated all mods to try and fix the issue and that has not been fixed, so I suspect the update basically broke my household. Oh well, but at least I can still recover the sims, so I will be able to recreate the household in no time and this time I will make sure to save the household to my gallery, so if this problem ever occurs again, at least I do not have to be too mad about the update breaking my household.
- 2 years ago@crinrict I think I figured it out. It isn't that the sims are bugged. The lot it is on is bugged. I have transferred all the sims out of the lot and the ones remaining can't be accessed. Because the lot was massive with tens of beds and other decorations, it eventually got way to laggy for the game to with stand, so now it is bugged.
- 2 years ago@crinrict It seems the game has broken the extremely large build, so I hope it can be passed onto developers to let them know about this case, so it can be fixed. I believe this to be the case because spawning the house in a different save causes the same issue. The house does end up getting built when in build mode, but exiting the build is impossible and is stuck on an endless loading screen.

I tried it on a fresh save and still nothing. I have even tried it using a house from the gallery and it still does not work. I have a save from several months ago when I built it and it still does not work, so I think it is that the code in the recent patch has screwed up large houses. I am even going back after today to try again to see if it is happening again, so I will keep you notified on any issues.
Ps. I also tested it without mods. - 2 years ago@crinrict I don't remember, but I spawned in a really large build. The build loads, but does not allow me to exit build mode. I honestly just took any 64*64 build lot and tried to add it in and it doesn't work. Still though at least I know it is not my household that is causing the issue anymore. I just tried spawning the old house without furniture and it seems to work, so there maybe some furniture in that build that is causing the issue.
- 2 years ago@crinrict I have found an instruction on a folder reset, but it still does not work. It still doesn't allow me to load and according to the website either the save has been corrupted which it is not because we can load into the world, but I just can't load the home, so it tells me it is a game bug.
- 2 years ago@crinrict the issue still remains and it is becoming a pain in the * to deal with considering at this point I would just say it is bugged and I hope the dev team can fix it
i already ruled out the save considering the issue persists to any save file i put it on
even a folder reset does not work and that is probably gonna be the best chance I had at fixing the issue
even removing mods have not fixed the issue, so it is not the household, not the save, just the big * house - 2 years ago
EA built ones don't have that same issue, so I believe it is due a lot of decoration, considering it works perfectly fine without furniture, so there maybe a particular furniture that may be causing the issue, but it will be impossible to narrow it down. Even after removing any of the modded inclusions, it does not load. I believe at this point the issue is due to Sims 4 no longer being capable of handling such large lots especially at this scale. Still though even if this issue isn't fixed, I am perfectly fine with bulldozing it completely, but I can't even do that without the game going into an endless loading screen when I try to exit mode build forcing me to force the game to close; thus, not saving the bulldozed lot. The patch changed how sims 4 lots worked adding the ability to turn rooms of a lot into a rental property and the possibility of the code messing with the lot in my eyes seems to be quite high.
I also understand that you have a lot of other issues that you have to handle as I did review your profile, just out of pure curiosity and I have seen some of your other work that has helped this community. - crinrict2 years agoHero+@4llen11 It is possible that the game goes in overdrive if you have tons of stuff on the lot. It's just curious that it worked with no issue and then not at all which does give the assumption that something on the lot corrupted during patching.
The game doesn't create any lastExceptions, right ? - 2 years ago
The game does not create any last exceptions which in my eyes is extremely strange, but at least it tells me that it is something in the base game that got corrupted. I'm still trying to find what the * got corrupted, but it is very difficult considering I do not know of any mods that could help me find it. It is really just a test and see if it works, but also considering it isn't very easy to save and exit build mode. I give.

Honestly, I need to know how to proceed because right now i got 64 sims that don't have a lot to stay on and separating them and giving all of them their own lots with enough beds is too troublesome. Is there a way I can fix the lot?
