I couldn't get it to load either but my guess is that the game just got stuck removing Sims since I didn't have any mods in.

I am having the exact same issue with a large build. The household only contained 5 sims. I tried repairing the game, uninstalling the game, removing mods, cc, creating a new save new blank game. This update had clearly broken by build and I cant even place it in a new empty save without this issue. I have also tried placing older versions of the build without sims. It will let me build but not play the lot with a household. I am so upset. The hours I've put into this lot. I was getting ready to release it for download to my subscribers but if they can't play it its pointless its a year of my rare free time lost. I swear someone at EA better help me fix this. I have a very good gaming computer, the latest drivers. It's not a graphics issue either.

Well if you have gone through this entire bug report, you will understand that there is no solution. I hope EA will be working on fixing the issue, but here are the tips that I have learned from all the troubleshooting we did.
You can save via the escape menu and selecting the save and go to manage worlds option, so any changes to the build can be fixed.
And here is the troubleshooting method, that I could not follow because my build is just far too big for me to figure out. Anyways here is the fix.
Step 1: Go to Load Game.
Step 2: Wait to load into world.
Step 3: Select the broken build and go into build mode without playing your household.Step 4: Then folder the build into your gallery, so you can constantly spawn it in if you still can't load into world after these steps.
Step 5: Delete the furniture starting from the top or bottom floor. ONLY ONE FLOOR FIRST.Step 6: Save the build by using the escape menu and going down to save and manage world.
Step 7: Once saved you should be able to go back to the world if successful. If not successful. Go to Resource Monitor and look for TS4_x64.exe and right click and click on stop process tree.
Step 8: Repeat until you can save and load into world without having to stop the game.
Step 9: You have successfully found the floor and the problem is now fixed. Proceed to your gallery and find your build. Spawn in your build and delete everything but that floor and save it.
Step 10: Once it is saved. Delete each room slowly until you narrowed down which room is causing the issue.
Step 11: Repeat the process starting from a different room and try and narrow it down.
Step 12: You have found the room or multiple rooms with this issue. Spawn your original home and delete those rooms.
Step 13: You have successfully saved your build and are now able to load back.
If you were unable to fix it that means that one of the other floors are causing the issue as well. Save the build after you have deleted those rooms. Save those changes to the gallery and repeat the process. Once that is done. Fix the build slowly. Any changes should be memorized or recorded, so you can go back to them and removed them. I wish I could do this, but by build is just far too massive for it to be possible. - crinrict2 years agoHero+
@4llen11 At this point it's unclear if it's the amount of items or a certain item or just a certain type.
Two follow up questions for you: Have you ever used TOOL to place any items on your lot ? Do you have any Debug items ?
@Makenziejay Currently the buildings will load if you place them without furniture. Not really a solution but that's what the community has found out so far.
Same questions above to you.
Also, could you DM me your tray files of the build ?@ry3_an5150 I've also merged your thread in here as @Bluebellflora tested your build and found it to be the same issue.
- 2 years ago@crinrict I believe it to be certain items. It doesn't make sense if I have to delete every single item on every single floor in order for it to work. It simply does not make sense for it to be the number of items because if that were the case, I would just have a longer loading time, not an infinite one. Also considering that the Makenziejay also has the problem, but has a 5 person household, meaning likely a small home. The chances of it being certain items to be quite high.
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@4llen11 It's just theories at this point. I'm also inclined to say it's not the amount cause there's lots that don't have that many. It's just insanely difficult to find out what, especially if games are crashing.
The number of Sims def doesn't matter. It's the lot, not the household.
I tried to delete floor by floor on your build. But you have so many lamps that i gave up in the end. I think I've deleted everything but the lamps (but there could have been hidden items somewhere) and some plants and it still wouldn't load. Only thing I got to work was to move out your family with the furniture.
Also could you let me know if you used tool or debug items ? - 2 years ago@crinrict I also rebuilt the majority of the lot and it has so far not presented any issues. I still haven't completed the 3rd and final floor before putting solar panels and so far there have been no issue issues. However, maybe if we just wait for Makenziejay to finish going through my troubleshooting steps it may help us narrow what is going on. Maybe ask for the save file and try going through that. It is bound to be 100% times easier than my build. It gives me headaches every single time I look at it and think about completing it.

As Crin has already asked, please confirm whether you have used TOOL or not in your problem build. You may not think it relevant but I can assure you it is. When helping to troubleshoot we rely on as much info as possible from players so we, the community, can all work together to try and come up with workarounds. - 2 years ago@Bluebellflora The reason why I didn't reply to it is because I have no clue what TOOL is, so I assumed I didn't use it. Also only the basement, 1st, and 2nd floor was pulled off the gallery, so i can't say.

Thanks. TOOL is a very powerful Mod used to place, rotate, and re-size objects outside of the normal game parameters. The Gallery Lot I am currently testing in a pre-patched game may have used it. We’re also checking for Debug items that may contribute.
You may have already provided it but to save me reading 9 pages in this report, could you give me the creator and Lot names of the gallery builds you downloaded you are having issues with? I can load into my game and check for TOOL usage and debug. - 2 years ago@Bluebellflora I know for one thing is that I only used the tools provided via the game. I can get you my build, but the original build has been lost to time. You got a place where I can send over the save file?
- Bluebellflora2 years agoHero+@4llen11
You said in your previous post - “Also only the basement, 1st, and 2nd floor was pulled off the gallery” those are the details I’m asking for. No need to send me any files. I want to test the exact same Lot(s) you downloaded from the Gallery. - 2 years ago@Bluebellflora That is the issue. The original lot has been lost due to time like I said. I understand that you are very frustrated, but we are all trying to work towards the same goal of figuring out the issue.
- 2 years ago@Bluebellflora I can no longer find the build off the gallery, unless you want me to look through likely months of new builds and you probably understand that every single day there are brand new builds on the gallery.

- 2 years ago@Bluebellflora send me a dropbox and I will send you my entire save and the lot so you can look through the entire build and detect any mod usage and look for bugged items.
- 2 years ago@Bluebellflora The lot is in my in-game library, but not the original. I can send the entire save right now with the home in world, so you can look through yourself, but I need a dropbox link.
- Bluebellflora2 years agoHero+@4llen11
Please upload to a file sharing site and DM me the link to download. I’ll add you to the queue of things I’m currently testing. - 2 years ago@Bluebellflora Here is a dropbox link for it. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/2sha045lcgwppw6giv0zo/saves.zip?rlkey=mbfqpbmsdo1a0phv9nyhvorli&dl=0

I don’t want a save. I’d like your Tray folder please. I’m testing in a game that hasn’t been updated since August, your saves are useless to me. This is the only way to load these problematic Lots, in a pre-patched game. - 2 years ago@Bluebellflora You could have been more specific because I am not very knowledgeable about the process, but anyways here is a dropbox link. There should be 3 versions of it, all do not work.

Thanks. Please understand that you are not the only person us volunteer helpers are helping. A little patience and understanding would be appreciated. We are trying to help you but you are not the only one with this issue, as you have probably noticed from this thread and numerous others. - crinrict2 years agoHero+
@4llen11 I know you said you've been rebuilding your lot or you have maybe figured it out yourself already but I think I found the culprit on your lot and wanted to share
Behind the pool on the lowest level, near the lot entrance, there's a a lot of water emitters put there on top of each other (Moo?) and they seem to cause the issue.
I had to delete them all and then your lot loaded again. Is that part of what you downloaded or did you build this ?
that part was downloaded, but dang
i honestly never noticed those little things, thx for the heads up
i will delete those and see if it fixes the issue
