- 2 years ago@crinrict I have found an instruction on a folder reset, but it still does not work. It still doesn't allow me to load and according to the website either the save has been corrupted which it is not because we can load into the world, but I just can't load the home, so it tells me it is a game bug.
- 2 years ago@crinrict the issue still remains and it is becoming a pain in the * to deal with considering at this point I would just say it is bugged and I hope the dev team can fix it
i already ruled out the save considering the issue persists to any save file i put it on
even a folder reset does not work and that is probably gonna be the best chance I had at fixing the issue
even removing mods have not fixed the issue, so it is not the household, not the save, just the big * house - 2 years ago
EA built ones don't have that same issue, so I believe it is due a lot of decoration, considering it works perfectly fine without furniture, so there maybe a particular furniture that may be causing the issue, but it will be impossible to narrow it down. Even after removing any of the modded inclusions, it does not load. I believe at this point the issue is due to Sims 4 no longer being capable of handling such large lots especially at this scale. Still though even if this issue isn't fixed, I am perfectly fine with bulldozing it completely, but I can't even do that without the game going into an endless loading screen when I try to exit mode build forcing me to force the game to close; thus, not saving the bulldozed lot. The patch changed how sims 4 lots worked adding the ability to turn rooms of a lot into a rental property and the possibility of the code messing with the lot in my eyes seems to be quite high.
I also understand that you have a lot of other issues that you have to handle as I did review your profile, just out of pure curiosity and I have seen some of your other work that has helped this community. - crinrict2 years agoHero+@4llen11 It is possible that the game goes in overdrive if you have tons of stuff on the lot. It's just curious that it worked with no issue and then not at all which does give the assumption that something on the lot corrupted during patching.
The game doesn't create any lastExceptions, right ? - 2 years ago
The game does not create any last exceptions which in my eyes is extremely strange, but at least it tells me that it is something in the base game that got corrupted. I'm still trying to find what the * got corrupted, but it is very difficult considering I do not know of any mods that could help me find it. It is really just a test and see if it works, but also considering it isn't very easy to save and exit build mode. I give.

Honestly, I need to know how to proceed because right now i got 64 sims that don't have a lot to stay on and separating them and giving all of them their own lots with enough beds is too troublesome. Is there a way I can fix the lot?
I can try. Hopefully it is not an entire living room because that would be very annoying.
- 2 years ago@crinrict I have managed to delete every single room in the entire build and nothing has worked. It is too dam strange, but I was able to saved the build using the menu, so that is good. Either way, I think i narrowed down to the lights because I did use modded ceiling lights, but I do not know how those would cause an issue.
- 2 years ago@crinrict Its the Mansion Moderna B&W, i do have a new version of it without any of the modded stuff, but considering you are most likely going to be playing the game without mods, the game should delete it automatically. It is located on the 64*64 lot in Windenburg. Honestly, I still haven't figured it out and it has been hours. The issue persists no matter if I removed the everything from all of the floors, so I really do not know what is wrong. After I removed everything from the lot, I was able to put a sim on the lot, so I know there is something wrong with it. I had even removed all the foliage, the pool, and the fountains and nothing has really worked other than removing every single thing.
- 2 years ago@crinrict also saving it requires to you the esc menu and going to save and go to world
you will know if you can load a sim onto the lot when it doesn't endlessly load after it saves and goes into the loading screen
if it does endlessly load afterwards means the problem is still there - crinrict2 years agoHero+@4llen11 I'm getting the same results as you do and my guess is that something about that lot is just corrupted. Placing it in a new save doesn't work, bulldozing and deleting stuff all give the same result.
I'll forward this thread to the CM but I don't know if there's anything that can be done, especially since you heavily mod your save.
Usually, if you use mods, you do so at your own risk. This is all I can do. - 2 years ago
The build itself is not all that modded and I do not have any build mods or at least a lot of it. I only really use script mods and clothing mods, so I find it quite strange how it doesn't work. It's in my opinion a fascinating problem. Either way, I expected the outcome to just be pass it to the devs considering it worked before the patch, which made me assume the patch was the one that messed up the build. Either way quite strange how the patch messed up the build. However thank you for your time and dedication.
- 2 years ago@crinrict Also considering that the next patch is likely months away and I expect the developers to not give a darn about my issue and this bug because it may only affect a small minority of users, so I am going to do the do diligence and renovate the entire home. It will likely take me weeks and I may give up, but I can not let go this build. It is one of a kind and I can no longer find it in the gallery considering it has been several months since I first spawned it.
