I still have the issue of sims hugging before talking in my game and I've heard of several others who are experiencing this as well. It's especially odd when it's two sims that are related and living together. I've noticed that they don't seem to talk autonomously to each other if they haven't done this "hug greeting" recently. I don't know what's going on really..
My sims also seem to hug autonomously really often even if they've literally just hugged. And they keep getting whims for it too. I'd definitely appreciate a cool down for the hugging interaction so my sims can actually get som things done. :P
I could provide a save, though it's not cc/mod-free so I don't know if it's of any use?
- Since there haven't been any reports since June on this thread, has this gotten any better or is it still excessive ?
Hi, I wouldn't say that mine is *excessive* but it might be related? I haven't had sims interrupting meals to greet each other randomly, but I have noticed that there is a breakdown on the "give residence key" interaction. I have a matriarch who gives a residence key to most of her grown children, and every time I initiate the interaction she walks out to her offspring, they hug, and then they hug again, and the interaction is cancelled. She will give the key when I select the interaction a second time.
