[OPEN] Excessive hugging

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have Sim attempt to talk to another sim when both are eating a meal at the dining table
What happens when the bug occurs? The Sims will stop eating, stand up, hug, then eventually sit back in different seats and continue eating and talking.
What do you expect to see? Them to just begin talking, not hug first.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

This is a new game that I just started after the most recent patch. When my Sims are sitting at the table eating a meal, and I tell one of them to talk to another (such as Ask About Day, not interactions that have the feet icon.) the Sims will get up and hug first, then sit down in different seats and continue to eat and talk. It has happened every time I’ve tried. It mostly just messes up the flow of the meal and makes everything take longer than is needed.
