[ARCHIVED] Eyelashes incompatible with certain eye presets

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.289.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except the Carnaval Streetwear Kit, and the Modern Menswear Kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Choose an eye preset with the old default eyelashes, go to the "eyelashes" makeup section and pick any eyelashes
What happens when the bug occurs? The new makeup eyelashes clips with, and appears to sit below, the old default eyelashes
What do you expect to see? The old default eyelashes should disappear so you can use the new makeup eyelashes with any eye preset
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. When the makeup eyelashes was added - 1.108.289.1030

    Hey there @rioohmy 

    There were 2 game updates released today, you should currently be on version 1.108.318.1020.

    Please ensure your game is fully patched, and let me know if the issue persists.

    I have updated the game to 1.108.318.1020 and it's still happening

    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all of them
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Apply any eyelashes to any sim
    What happens when the bug occurs? new eyelashes don't override the old "flat" ones, this results in double upper eyelashes visible
    What do you expect to see? all new types of eyelashes should overwrite the flat ones
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now, I've removed them
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
    Please describe the patch or change you made. update to 1.108.289.1030

    New eyelashes types are unusable because look just horrible. You can clearly see a sim's eyelashes are doubled, the new ones are just added "on top" without removing the old ones.
