[OPEN] Fish from buydebug mode can’t be selected

Has anybody tried the Smog Vacuum trick with fish?  Maybe if you buy a selling table and then set the fish on it, and then click "clear table" it'll stick the fish in your inventory where you could then interact with them normally. Not sure if it'll work, might test it out myself if I think about it.
