Since the March 2015 patch I've noticed that the info box is blank for fish when you're fertilizing plants. It doesn't tell you what kind of beastie you're using to fertilize like it used to. There is only a picture of the item with no description. Still seems fine for plants used as fertilizer. It's a minor problem, but still very annoying. No CC or mods. Digital download version, pre-ordered and pre-downloaded. Outdoor Retreat and Get To Work. NVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti, driver version 347.25. Intel i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz, 8GB RAM Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1

Tested it today. Newest patch. All DC except Kids Stuff. The problem persists, unfortunately. I can't find anything about it that is consistent. One Foul Goldfish shows info while another Foul Goldfish caught by the same Sim does not show info. Very strange! I know it's a minor problem - but it still bugs me. @DarkAmaranth1966 I tested it on two trees out on the lawn as well as plants in the planter box. Which fish are missing information does not change whichever plant I attempt to fertilize.

Could you try repairing the game through Origin ? Do you have other stuff missing ? Could you post a picture ?

The question is if they really forgot the text or if you have the empty missing text issue. Is this for any fish ?

What country are you located in (and no, this is not a random question, just trying to figure out if you *could* be affected by the other issue Haven't tried this in my game so far.

Okay. I've got an image for you. Here's the url where the image is located:

You can see in the selection list that plants are clearly labelled with info about what they are. The two fish visible in the list show the image of the fish, but are not labelled in any way.
I tried repairing the game through Origin and it is still doing this. I know it's a minor issue, but I still find it very annoying.

Some of the original caught fish on my Sims wall are missing certain information. Are you thinking the blank text is the numbers instead of text bug Crin?

Just wanna be sure it isn't . There's several people now missing text where a reinstall helps but I don't want to make @JasonVega2 reinstall if it's just those.

I double-checked and all fish in my Sims inventory behave this way - fresh or foul - new fish from Granite Falls or the fish from the base game - they all show the blank text. The tooltip text still works correctly from inventory, but I don't see it when it's listed as a fertilizer object.

Double-checked after May patch. Still an issue.
