Hi @Naillig1962 What kind of lot is this happening on, and if it's a Residential Rental lot, is it in shared space or a unit?
It happens in a residential rental my unit as landlord .. and it does it with the the tenants units as I bought loads of toys for there Roy box . But when later I came back to them to visit checked in to play with sweet toddler . And all the toys toys ad disappeared... I were gutted as with buying 6 grands worth of food and putting it in my fridge only for it to vanish same with books in library .. I'm building up to playing with simple living but mmm that might pose a problem as my food won't stay put ..

@Naillig1962 There's a bug report of this happening when you move but simply travelling wasn't reported.
I also tested my save and both travelling and reloading was fine for my items.
To be sure I understand correctly, you have it both for property owners living in rentals as well as tenants or just the tenants ?
Does it happen on another save too ?@IvVicious94 Merged your thread. See my questions above.

same thing has been happening to me as well, thought i was just forgetting that my sims had finished all the food in their fridge or had no books, but then i bought a bunch of books and made my sims meticulously put them away into the shared bookcase (since for some reason you can't do it via click-and-drag in the shared spaces in rentals, top-tier ux btw), only for it to be completely empty again next time i went to go get one. every time i get back into this game i end up regretting it xd
