I'm having this issue when playing different households, not just one. Things are randomly catching fire. Toilets, coffee tables, kitchen countertops. The stove caught fire randomly in the middle of the night when my sim was sleeping. They're also catching fire in quick succession. The toilet caught fire twice within a few minutes. I don't have any mods or anything, and it just started after the most recent update. Anyone else having this issue?
Unfortunately yes, I don't have any mods or CC currently installed. Lol hopefully whatever it is is fixed soon - I guess I'll have to see how good my Sims' firefighting skills are 🤣
please please please is there anyway to help me with this?? It is the same as this person. Mods are deleted, sims are not cooking when it happens because it is completely random. And it will happen with all households and im stubbborn and do not want to start a new game. But these fires are making it unplayable.
One question i have: is it possible its happening from too many sims in my world? I have it set to unlimited and have now 450 sims. This is something ive been doing recently and thats they only change i have made.
Im so confused i have been playing the sims for almost 20 years and im at a loss.

This is also happening to me. Everything is catching on fire and im not using mods right now because of it. Cant seem to find a reason but its not from cooking. Happens at any point even when they are sleeping and ive tried changing households but it still happens.
