I have one lot in particular that objects spontaneously combust oddly enough it's mostly ceiling lights!
My current working theory is that I saved and exited the game while a "curse event" (For Rent) was happening on my lot due to the" Maintenance Trouble" lot challenge was active and then I ended up playing a different household. When I ended up playing the original household the event was over but stuff kept catching on fire! I even removed the lot challenge and that didn't fix it.
It's not dust
It's not fears (fires happened while Sims didn't have fears)
So it has to be because the cursed event never finished. 🤷
