@MrSpooks32 Fear of fire does make your Sim more likely to cause fires - but I would have expected that to be during interactions that might cause fire anyway (lighting the fireplace, cooking, laundry, etc) and not while they're sleeping. Does the son have fear of fire now too?
When the fires do start whlile she's asleep, where does the fire start? Right by her on the bed, or somewhere else in the room? Do you have any fireplaces in the build?
Edit: What about For Rent? Have you had the cursed book event from For Rent on the lot previously, or even on a different lot but while playing the same household?
Her cooking level is pretty high so she doesn't cause fires during cooking, they don't have a fireplace either. The fires literally just spontaneously start around the house, if she's asleep they start on her bed. They'll start in random rooms, even outside. I haven't checked the son's fears but I wouldn't be surprised if he had the fear now too.
I do have the For Rent pack and we had the cursed book, but she destroyed it as soon as it appeared. She since moved out of that apartment into a little trailer home, she also sold the apartment lot (she was a landlord lol) so I've since removed all ties to that building. I genuinely have no other ideas other than to debug her and the items around the house or, on a darker note, surrender to the flames.
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@MrSpooks32 I've merged your post with the thread on the cursed book. There's a bug with those. The fire starting seems to stay even if the book event is resolved.

Oh god that's horrific, I hope it's fixed soon. There seem to be so many bugs lately :/
