For the last few days I've been getting fires all over the place. Why? I shut off events and everything. Every so many minutes a fire starts and it's totally ruining the game. Plants burn up, I want it stopped! It should shut off since I shut off events shouldn't it? Can't enjoy the game and I spent all this money on it.. I researched, did everything I could think of to no avail.
Hi, Yes, I did get that and I looked and looked for solutions and I looked for the book a little but it said that even if I destroyed it and mailed it, there would be problems. And I can't find the book, I looked and looked but I also have vision problems. I wish they would make it lots easier to find it. I moved my people and I shut off the Traits under the residence thing and I shut off events in that other place so that was supposed to stop. Or that's my understanding anyways. It's from the Rental pack right? There is a place where we can shut off those things so they stop happening. I looked online and see what the book is supposed to look like but they make it too hard to find. I tried to remove that Rental pack but can't do that either. I can't find any cheats to stop it.
@Last Hero Post Hi there! Well I tried moving her and her daughter and sister but that didn't work so I moved them back to the apartment to see if I could find the book. Never did find a book. I deleted the mom because everywhere she went there were frequent fires. After she was gone, the fires continued in the apt. she moved back into but they had stopped in the home she shared with other sims. The daughter was still a kid and pretty scared about all those fires and the mom was pregant with her when I got her and I deleted the daughter and the fires continued. So I deleted the twin sister I'd made from her and now there are no more fires. None in the apt. she shared with other sims and no fires where she lived in a house with other sims, or I should say where they lived. So I have no idea what happened to the book but I had to delete the 3 sims that came from the one. I guess that is the answer from now on for me.
