[OPEN] [FR] Objects randomly catch on fire after solved cursed book event

I installed the recent update today and now random objects in my sims apartment catch on fire. It happens way too often and also to the most random items. My sim is sleeping in bed and suddenly the rug in the bathroom starts burning or the kitchen dining table or even the desk in my sims bedroom. There isn't even a computer on there or anyone using the things. 

I don't understand what's happening or how I can fix it. Please help.
