[OPEN] [FR] Objects randomly catch on fire after solved cursed book event

I am having the same issue and it is making it hard to continue playing. 

My sim (property owner) responded to the event and destroyed the book, got a cursed moodlet for 24 hours, and now several days have gone by and random fires are popping up everywhere! The closet and picture frames have caught fire, the dog’s food bowls caught fire, the toilet caught fire — it’s getting frustrating! I’m so worried my legacy sims are going to die due to very unnatural occurrences ☹️
