Me as well! Sims are obsessed with the pressure cooker and will even use stove to make meal, finish cooking meal, load the pressure cooker, and then go eat the stove food they cooked--never returning to the pressure cooker. It's the coffee maker autonomy issue all over again (I haven't tried turning autonomy off btw so no clue how deep coded the issue is).
I'm having the always dirty glitch with it as well, as I saw that mentioned in one of your follow up comments. No way to clean the pressure cooker as far as I've seen even with constant use, only an option to empty it (when there's actually something in it, and this doesn't seem to have an effect on the stink cloud besides a break in animation. I tried using it, leaving it for 2 days in game and then emptying thinking it may fix it). Dirty stank animation doesn't seem to be accompanied by negative moodlet though, so for my game I think it's an animation glitch? Doesn't start happening until purchased pressure cooker is used once, then seemingly random yet constant.

Sims are obsessed with the pressure cooker. If you put one on the lot they are always trying to use it. I had a Sim cook a meal and before she ate it she decided to cook a different meal using the pressure cooker.
I don't have mods. (Console Player 🎮)
I turned off NAPs
