Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a sim who lives in a rental with multiple units
What happens when the bug occurs? Other renters constantly walking through my sim's apartment. Even locking the door to everyone but household members doesn't keep them out.
What do you expect to see? Neighbors not walking through another sim's apartment to get to their own.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
In a multiple unit building, other renters in the building appear to be using the controlled sim's apartment as a pass through to get to their own units. This occurs with every other sim that lives in the building, despite having their own doors to both the front and rear of the building.
