Which packs do you own (if you have a lot, please list the ones you don't own): I own every expansion, all game packs except werewolves, vampires, and batuu. All stuff packs except spooky, toddler, Home chef hustle, and vintage glamour. For kits I am missing Modern Menswear, Decor to the Max, Simtimates, Basement Treasures, Poolside, and Castle. I have all current game updates as well so I am running the most up to date version.
Please describe in details when you had them enter your home. Constantly. The issue I'm experiencing: I currently have 5 units on a lot and am working on adding an additional unit. 1 of my units (unit 5) has an outdoor covered porch that is counted as a room and marked as being part of unit 5. On the porch, I have a grill and sink and even though it's marked as being part of that specific unit, everyone, neighbors and townies alike, freely use her stuff. Another one of my units has 2 floors (unit 3). The 2nd floor has an enclosed outdoor patio with no roof. It is counted as a room, and it is denoted as being a part of unit 3. The only way to get to it is going through that unit's front door and going up a ladder and then walking through the upper level of the unit. She has plants, a grill, and a chess table up there and neighbors keep making there way up there and harvesting her plants and using her stuff.
Have you ever used mods/cc on this save. Not that I know of. I don't use mods or cc because I shouldn't have to use them to have a playable game that I paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars on... I occasionally use MCCC as needed, but I generally have it turned off. I literally turn it on, do whatever I need to do and then turn it off before I continue playing. I don't recall using for this save.
Do you have your front door locked? Not usually. Locking the door prevents actual family, visitors, etc from being able to come inside. This includes the landlord so whenever you have to call them to fix something, they can't get in if you lock the door. I generally have all my back/side doors locked and leave my front doors unlocked. Neighbors appear to only be using the unlocked doors in this specific case.
Do you have the issue in Rental Units/Houses or Apartments? Rental units for this specific case.
Do you have the option to send them home? Not usually because it's not counting them as being on/in my unit. Even though the entire house and patio are marked as belonging to unit 3, neighbors and townies are treating it as a shared space. Plus it happens even when I'm playing a different house on that lot. Like if I play my active sim who lives in unit 6, he wanders through the units mentioned above. I have communal plants on the lot and I clicked harvest all, causing my sim to harvest them, and then also wander through unit 3 and go up to her private balcony to harvest her plants. It still lists me as being at my home lot so I obviously can't send myself home or send other neighbors/townies home when they are not visiting my personal unit and are just visiting the lot in general
Did you have a party going on and guests just overstayed their welcome? Not this specific case. Has happened to me in previous saves. I usually just travel and come back to resolve that issue.
Any specific world you have issues with? For this specific save I am on the 64 x 64 lot in Windenburg in the island neighborhood. The Von-Windenburg Estate.
Any special type of NPC you have come over all the time? Not sure what you mean but I don't think so. I see some of the townies and stuff more than once but the only special person I invite over regularly is the property owner. Every time I invite him or others I am able to send them home.
Did you ever give the Sims coming in a key? No. Hate that feature so I never use it =\
What are they doing once they are in your home? Treating it as a shared space. Inside my units are hidden properly like I cannot see unit 3 indoor spaces when I am actively playing my unit 6 sim. However the outdoor spaces are all visible, like they are a shared space, despite being marked as part of individual units. So anything in these outdoor spaces are being freely used. Chess table, plants, grill, etc. Even if the outdoor space couldn't be marked as part of unit (but again, this patio is enclosed with a floor and listed as a room, as well as being surrounded by the correct unit color marking) sims should not be able to access it since literally the only way to access it is to go through the hidden unit itself. I cannot see them as they are passing through the indoor hidden area, so as far as I know they are not doing anything but walking through and using the ladder, and then emerging onto the enclosed/roomed patio where I can see them again.
Anything else that comes to mind. It appears in my specific case that anything outdoor is being flagged as shared space, despite having it enclosed/roomed off and marking it as part of individual units, and regardless of what floor it is on. (Unit 3's patio is on floor 2. Unit 5's patio is on ground level, but with a foundation) Because the game thinks they are shared spaces, sims are somehow able to route to it regardless of there being hidden unit/non shared spaces in the way.
