[OPEN] [GALLERY] Download Numbers Lower After Maintenance (June 2023)

Hey all,

I believe this is by design, as the Gallery calculates number of downloads by unique EA accounts rather than total downloads.

This is to eliminate bad actors from spamming the download button on their own creations, and to give a more accurate count.

@EA_Cade I just want the total likes and downloads to be at the top right of my screen. I was so proud of my total. EA took that away from me, and so many other people who just wanted the number to be there. Please put it back, I’m begging you.

    Totally agree. It felt like an achievement seeing total number of downloads. I personally don't care about the lost downloads i just want to see a total (even if it is reduced) i can build it up again, that is the fun, i like to know others are enjoying my builds. Please bring back the TOTAL DOWNLOADS!!

    So true, please bring back the total likes and downloads. Felt good to see those numbers going up, especially when you're not a big creator. Sigh.
