[OPEN] Game crashing when placing certain items (Intel Iris XE, DX9)

What is your current game version number? The most current one
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EP: GTW, CL, C&D, Seasons, GF, IL, DU, SE, CoL.    GP: OR, DO, Vampires, Parenthood, SV, ROM, WW.   SP: CK, Spooky, MH, RG, BY, VG, Toddler, LD, MFP, Moschino, TL, NK, HCH.    Kits: Blooming Rooms and Desert Luxe.   I also have both free stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to the Vista Quarry lot in Oasis Springs. Enter build mode and try to grab and move the wall cabinets in the bathroom
What happens when the bug occurs? The game freezes then crashes
What do you expect to see? I would like to remove the cabinets and have my game not crash
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The most recent patch that was supposed to "fix a lot of bugs"

I've renovated this house before, so it's a new issue for me. I just want to remove the ugly wall cabinets and make a nice bathroom for my Sims that just moved in
