@SimRellEsq I haven't encountered this, but I also haven't looked into build-related crashes after this patch. I'll ask around.
But to be clear, can you place kitchen cabinets in a clean Sims 4 folder? You said initially that build mode worked fine in a new folder, but I want to make sure you tested the cabinets specifically. If that does work, try copying one of your existing saves to the new folder and placing cabinets again.
Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Thanks for the reply. I still had the issue, but ran the DXdiag and it's attached.
- crinrict5 months agoHero+You can try the -dx11 switch to see if it doesn't crash with DX11.
Would be interesting to know. You can always switch back afterwards. Mainly interested in the results.
Also if everyone could post their specs, that be great. Helps pinpointing the issue.- Brohepsi5 months agoNew Rookie
@crinrict Here you go! It's higher than I thought it would be. Maybe I'll try out the new DX11

An update from my end: I figured out how to turn on DX11 and was successfully able to remove the wall cabinets with no crashing

I know my reply is late given that your reply is from September, but I tried the Dx11 switch and received an error message from my computer "the requested operation requires elevation." Somehow I'm not the admin of my own laptop (crazy!). So now I'm having to figure out how to work around that before I can even try the dx11 change. Thank you for the reply.
