For anyone experiencing this issue, can you install the latest Intel driver and see if the issue still occurs?

The game works fine until I try placing the upper cabinets. Then crashes. I've never had this problem before. I have all the expansion Packs, all the game packs but my wedding stories. Never had the game crashing on me like this until recently

There used to be a bug that would prevent Sims from using sinks, some counter spaces, and even dishwashers that were placed under the cabinets, but that has recently been corrected with the latest patch.
To have your game crash altogether leaves me to question if you have any Mods or Custom Content in your game. With the lasted patch and recent new additional downloaded items, it is causing many of these Mods or CC in need of repairs.
If you do have Mods or CC in your game, you will need to go through them to see which ones are causing the issue or to locate the people who created these contents and see if they have a recent fix for these issues.
Additionally, you might find a "Last Exception" File found within your EA > Sims 4 folder. These files can usually list the cause (s) of the issues you are facing. If you do not have Mods in your game, and have found one of these... please submit this to EA for further assistance.

- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post
