[OPEN] Game 'freezes' occasionally when opening in-game menus

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Simply playing the sims 4
What happens when the bug occurs? Whenever I do any action that comes with opening a in-game window (for example saving the game, posting on social bunny or choosing what food to cook) the game freezes. My sims are still moving (not walking around, but not standing still), the clock freezes and i cant control anything. I can't save the game, and I can't turn the game off without saving either. It's a major bug that makes me unable to play at all. It started when I downloaded growing together.
What do you expect to see? I would like to be able to playing the game.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The issue appeared since i downloaded growing together. It also came with a few minor bugs; - the baby getting stuck between the parents feets while their walking away instead of being places in the crib. - when the baby is places in the baby gym, it disapears, but can still be interacted with. - When woohoo-ing in the shower, one of the two sims will stand in the living room but still interact with the one who is in the shower.

I'll attach a picture of how it looks when the baby follows the elder sims around (this was before deleted all CC). The main bug problem looks as decribed.
