I am also having this issue. For your testing pleasure:
- I have every sim game.
- I have custom content installed, however I am experiencing the glitch without CC
- My current sim is a Young Adult Vampire, that I played through to get him to Proper Celebrity status.
- No UI cheats have been used on this sim.
- This sim is going for the Master Actor aspiration.
- The glitch happens whenever my sim travels to a new lot, regardless of myself being there (ie going to auditions).
- The game resisters that the Fame Shine is active, it just doesn't show up.
- I am able to get the Fame Shine to show up if I turn it off and then turn it back on.
I can add more as I find them. 🙂
Edit: added screenshot of quirks.
I am able to temporarily fix it by doing a the debug sim then saving or save exit. Then it sticks for a while. Then i do the same thing again when it disappears again.
Man it's happening again... ☹️ after the update the debut trick doesnt work anymore when i quit and open the game again the shine is gone...
