Hi! I was hoping to shed light to an ongoing issue in the game.
I have 15 played households.
When playing one household, I teach the infants all milestones before I switch to another household to play, only to discover that if the same infant is invited to a stay over (at grandmas or anywhere) they no longer know how to sit up, crawl, talk etc. Now, they only lay on the floor & keep having a laugh milestone over and over. Also, if you invite baby over as grandparent, you are not able to help them reach any milestones. It’s just endless tummy time.
This is also the same when visited. I will visit a house as grandma or auntie/uncle & the infant that I know can crawl/sit-up etc no longer knows how to do any of that unless you are actively playing their household.
This has become really frustrating for me because Growing Together is my favorite pack.
I would really like for them to maintain all milestones reached while being visited or visiting other households. PLEASE lol, I turn aging off for infants/toddlers & now I don’t even want to experience anymore because they are not actively able to be taken care of unless being played.

@632vozy4cru2 To be sure that I understand the issue correctly: They still have all their milestones when you go back to play them but they don't when they are NPCs ?

Yes. Sorry for the late response.
To clarify, for example :
I’ll just finish playing a household with infant that has all milestones met & can sit/crawl. Then I’ll switch control to another household that knows them (grandma, or aunt/uncle) & upon visiting, the infant no longer “seems” to know how to do these things. Then upon switching back, they do.
Same as if the infant is invited for a stay over. It only lays down, even if at home it knows how to sit/crawl.
Ive noticed This only happens with played households— so if I visit an unplayed household (a friend of my sims) that has an NPC infant, their infant can sit/crawl even though they’ve never been actively played/taught.
