[OPEN] [GT] Lead a Club with 8 Sims Goal counts other Clubs

I was playing The Sims 4 and I noticed an interesting thing with the Leader of the Club Aspiration. The Leader of the Pack Aspiration has a goal Lead a Club with 8 Sims where a Sim has to be a Club Leader and have 8 Sims in their Club but it looks like that the game doesn't actually check only the Club the Sim is a Leader but rather all Clubs the Sims is in for the 8 Sims.

Here's what happened:

Rebecca is a leader of the Club known as Goths and she's also part of the other Club I created known as Art Lovers. Rebecca's Club (Goths) had less than 8 Sims but the other Club she's in (Art Lovers) has 8 Sims. I think what happened is that Rebecca is a Leader of a Club she started (fulfilling the Leader requirement of the Lead a Club with 8 Sims Goal) while her other Club has 8 Sims (fulfilling the 8 Sims requirement of Lead a Club with 8 Sims). The game possibly check the other Clubs, not just the Leader's own Club, for the 8 Sims so since Rebecca is a Leader and her other Club has 8 Sims, Rebecca is considered to meet the requirement and thus the Goal is completed.

Here's an example:

  1. Bella is a Leader of the Club named Goths.
  2. Mortimer is a Leader of the Club named Sims with Bella included in the Club.
  3. Bella reaches the Leader of the Pack Aspiration.
  4. The Club Sims has 8 Sims in the Club.
  5. Bella will have the Lead a Club with 8 Sims Goal completed since she leads the Goth Club but her other Club has 8 Sims.

I do not know if this behavior/rule is by design, oversight, or a bug. The goal doesn't mention if the other Clubs are counted although it does tell you that you have to be a Leader by forming a Club or overthrowing another Leader. Is the Goal, Lead a Club with 8 Sims, supposed to count the other Clubs for the 8 Sims, or was it supposed to only count the Leader's own Club? I would like to know.

    I'd lean towards a bug. There's other things that complete if you are in one or more clubs (like if you buy perks for one club, they are available in the other).

    Just one question: Was the leader of that 8 Sim Club in your household or in a different household ?

    The leader who had the 8 Sims goal completed was in my household. Rebecca is part of my household who is the leader of the Goths Club, Rebecca is also a Member of the Art Lovers Club that Zoey (also part of my Household) started. Below shows my Household and Club information.

    • G is Goths and AL is Art Lovers.
    • Red indicated Leaders, blue indicates Sims not part of my Household.

    Miller-Couture Household

    • Rebecca Miller (G, AL)
    • Urblake Miller (G, AL)
    • Jennifer Couture. (G, AL)
    • Zoey Miller (AL)
    • Valerie Valentine (AL)
    • Ava Miller (AL)
    • Ashley Couture (AL)

    Goths' Club  Members

    • Rebecca Miller
    • Urblake Miller
    • Jennifer Couture
    • Mortimer Goth
    • Bella Goth

    So there could be two scenarios that trigger the issue (both faulty of course)

    It was triggered, because another Sim in your household fulfilled the criteria or it was triggered because the Sim with the aspiration was in two clubs as you suggested above.

    So I guess the next test would be to have the same scenario but move the Sim that's the leader of the other club out of your household.

    I have removed the other Club Leader (Zoey) from the my Household and had Rebecca start a Club while part of the Art Lovers Club and the goal also completed. I also tried the Pancakes Household with Eliza by having her join Art Lovers and then starting a Club, she also got the Goal as well. It appears that even leaders with 8 Sim Clubs part of different households will still complete the Lead a Club with 8 Sims goal.

    I used testingcheats true and aspirations.complete_current_milestone to get to the Leader of the Pack milestone for the test which was used on Urblake, Rebecca, Zoey, and Eliza from the Pancakes household. I started Art Lovers with 6 Sims and set the Club Activity to Paint to allow me to get 750 Club Points to get both Capacity upgrades. To prevent the Welcome Wagon from appearing during test, I edited the Municipal Muses lot in Willow Creek to include a basement and easels and did the Gathering on that lot.

    I could guess why none of the default Clubs have 8 Sims because belonging to one the Clubs while being a Leader of another Club would allow the Goal to complete instantly upon reaching the 4th Milestone.

    Thanks for testing. Adding this. The text definitely suggests that you  need to be the leader of a group with 8 Sims and not leader of a group and in club with 8 Sims.
